Great site.
For Mike Scoscia's ejection, Iassogna tossed him from the dugout for arguing the check swing appeal (Iassogna overruled), which in essence I suppose really is the same thing as balls and strikes.
(And Carrasco was ejected by Alfonso Marquez, as funny as it would be to have seen a player eject himself).
Visit my Ejection Fantasy League site, cascreamindude.livejournal.com (archived only the second half of the 2007 season...).
Oh, and July 20, Boston Red Sox. Tim McClelland ejected Terry Francona for arguing a non-home run call (replays indicate the ball did indeed hit over the line, but it was called in play.... David Ortiz was out trying to score from first base).
Gil,
Thanks for the catch on Carrasco. With so many names, proofreading and fact-checking is hell.
What's the point of this post?
Why not post all the strikeouts, flyouts, groundouts, spits, and farts?
